Role
Lamoureux is a 6'6", 224-pound right-shooting defenseman and a first-round pick (29th overall) of Arizona in 2022. He has played 20 NHL games for the franchise: 15 in 2024-25 (1 goal, 2 assists) and 5 in 2025-26 (1 assist).
NHL data shows no games for him this season. Deseret News listed him, along with Zac Jones, as the top AHL options if injuries hit the blue line.
Outlook
Our take: size is his selling point, and the question is whether the rest of his game catches up. For now he's the next man up.
We'd guess 10 to 20 games this season, mostly depending on health. A good run in the AHL would help his case.
